Spring 2013 Online Computer Science Offerings:
Welcome to the Casper College Computer Science Department Home Page, at www.caspercomsci.com. Our department is responsible for the Associates of Science in Computer Science Degree at Casper College. Within our program students study content to prepare them for either employment at graduation or to help prepare them for successfully transfer into a Bachelor's of Computer Science Program elsewhere, such as at the University of Wyoming. In our classes students study the syntax of programming languages such as C++, Java, Visual Basic, and Assembly, as well as study problem solving and the use of concepts like iteration, functions, logic, data, recursion, files and class structures. Also studied is computer organization relating to how computers work, digital logic, hardware, parallel processing, threading, etc. Computer Science involves the study of all aspects of Computers, Computer Technology and problem solving using computers. Computer Science is a exciting and dynamic field of study.
